Location – Hamilton City Holiday Park

We look forward to meeting you soon and invite you to our wonderful city of Hamilton, which is ideal for a family holiday as it is centrally located between many towns/cities and only 1.5 hours drive from Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga, Waitomo and other major tourist attractions.

We are on the eastern boundary of town allowing easy access to Hamilton Gardens, Waikato Stadium, Claudelands Events Centre, Hamilton International Airport (15 minutes), Mystery Creek (15 minutes), University of Waikato (1km) and the city centre (2km). A Countdown supermarket and a chemist are a 5-minute walk away (Peachgrove Road).

Directions from Auckland

Travelling south from Auckland on Highway 1 follow signs to Hamilton/ Cambridge. Then follow Cambridge 1B to Gordonton Road. Drive approx 20kms on Gordonton Road going through Gordonton. At roundabout take 2nd exit (University/South). Next roundabout 2nd exit (University). 1st set of traffic lights go straight on. 2nd set of traffic lights turn right into Ruakura Road. Hamilton City Holiday Park will be on your left straight after pedestrian lights.

Directions from South (via Cambridge)

Keep on Highway 1 until you reach Hamilton Gardens roundabout. The Stone Cloak sculpture will be on your left. Turn right into Galloway Street which becomes Peachgrove Road. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn right into Ruakura Road. Hamilton City Holiday Park will be approx 200 metres on your right-hand side.

Directions from New Plymouth/Ohaupo/Waitomo Caves

As you approach Hamilton follow signs for Rotorua/Cambridge Highway 1 south. Once on Highway 1 go over the river and at the next roundabout (Hamilton Gardens on your right) turn left into Galloway Street which becomes Peachgrove Road. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn right into Ruakura Road. Hamilton City Holiday Park will be approx 200 metres on your right-hand side.
